Law No 96/2015 of 17 August regulates the availability and use of public procurement electronic platforms provided for in the Public Contracts Code (PCC) approved by Decree-Law No 18/2008 of 29 January 2008. It lays down the requirements and conditions those platforms must comply with and sets out their obligation to be able to interoperate with the Public Contracts Portal and other systems operated by public entities. It also transposes into national law Article 29 of Directive 2014/23/EU, Article 22 and Annex IV of Directive 2014/24/EU and Article 40 and Annex V of Directive 2014/25/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 February 2014, and repeals Decree-Law No 143-A/2008 of 25 July 2008.
