The ENCPE 2020, approved by Resolution No 38/2016 of the Council of Ministers of 29 July 2016, provides that the inclusion of environmental criteria in public procurement is mandatory.
For monitoring purposes, contracting entities are required to report to the BASE Portal all the pre-contractual procedures containing environmental criteria, as well as any contracts resulting from bids valued for the adoption of environmental criteria.
Therefore, for procedures created on the BASE Portal from 30 September 2016 onwards, the Reports on Procurement and Contract Formation (RC/RFC) available shall include the necessary fields for classifying the procedures launched and the bids submitted with environmental criteria.
