EU Legislation

The Public Contracts Code was approved by Decree-Law No 18/2008 of 29 January 2008, transposes into national law the EU legislation on public procurement (Directives 2004/17/EC and 2004/18/EC, both of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 31 March 2004) and regulates the formation and performance of public contracts in Portugal.

The purpose of this space is to gradually make available all information on public procurement that may be useful to all stakeholders and interested parties.
