In August 2020, 379 fewer competition announcements were published than in the previous month. August's announcements represent a 15.2% decrease in forecasted expenditure, with a positive variation over the period.

In year-on-year terms (compared to the same month of the previous year), in August 2020, another 351 contracts (+ 3.5%) were reported to the BASE portal, however, in terms of contracted expenses, there was a decrease of 57 M € (-0.8%),
compared to August 2019.
