In September 2020, 151 more competition announcements were published than in the previous month. September's announcements represent a 26% decrease in expected expenditure, with a positive variation over the period, however.
year-on-year, both in terms of number of procedures (+346) and in terms of expected expenditure (+395 M €).
A further 2 571 contracts were reported to the BASE portal than in August 2020. An increase was thus seen both in the number of contracts (+ 24.6%) and in terms of contracted expenditure (+187 M €).
In year-on-year terms (compared to the same month of the previous year), in September 2020 another 1,414 contracts (+ 12.2%) and an additional 177 M € (+ 27.1%) were reported to the BASE portal than in September 2019.
